2026 York City Little League Baseball

Boys and girls, age 4-15, of every ability level play in York City Little League. Participants must live within York City limits or attend any school located in York City.

YCLL games are played on a variety of fields throughout York City, including Rotary Fields at Allen and Odeon Park, Small Athletic Field and Noonan Park .

Thanks to our sponsors, all of this is at an affordable price and an unbeatable value in youth sports. Since 2004, YCLL has served between 200-350 youth each year. The success has been based on the hard work of the volunteers, led by a local Board of Directors. YCLL needs parents to take some initiative to make the program successful. We encourage you to consider volunteering as a coach and/or league official.

YCLL is a nonprofit group that is chartered as an Urban Initiative Program through Little League International. Parents are expected to respect the decisions of the league officials, coaches and umpires.

Through proper coaching techniques, delivered in a positive fashion, youth are able to build their baseball skills, make new friends and have fun.

Each season, we have preseason practices and evaluations to appropriately place participants in divisions they will have a reasonable chance to succeed while being appropriately challenged.

District 14 Little League decided to revamp the divisions. You will notice in the registration the names of our divisions have changed. If you have questions on which division your child should be placed in please reach out to our player agent [email protected].

Divisions for the 2026 Season

*TBall - This division is for the youngest players. TBall players will not be assessed and will be placed on a team randomly. This division is an introduction to the game of baseball and the fundamentals of the sport at a non-competitive level.

*Minors A - This division is known formally as Coach Pitch and 8U Hybrid. This division will focus on developing pitching skills, giving players exposure to player pitching, putting the ball in play and building defensive skills. It is encouraged for players who had 1 year of TBall to be placed into this division.

*Minors AA - This division is formally knows as our 8U/AKP division. This division is 100% player pitch. Teams will follow full Little League rules. It is encouraged for players who had 1 year of hybrid in the past. Players in this division will be assessed at assessments in January and February. Teams will be formed via draft with managers for each team.

*Minors AAA - This division is known formally as our Minors AA. This division is 100% player pitch. Teams will follow full Little League rules. Players in this division will be assessed at assessments in January and February. Teams will be formed via draft with managers for each team. An 11 year old player that is not drafted into the Majors division will be drafted to a Minors AAA team.

*Majors - This division is the same as the past. Teams will follow full Little League rules. Players in this division will be assessed at assessments in January and February. Teams will be formed via draft with managers for each team.

TBall – Ages 4-6

Minors A – Ages 6-8

Minors AA – Ages 9-10

Minors AAA – Ages 10-11

Majors – Ages 12

Intermediate – Ages 13

Juniors – Ages 14-16

Regular season is played mid-April (weather permitting) through mid-June.

Practices will begin mid-March (weather permitting)

**Assessments for Minors A (select players), Minors AA, Minors AAA and Majors teams will be held in February, dates will be emailed out in January. Your child will be assigned a spot and will only need to attend ONE of the dates.

***Team Placement -- Assessments will be held for Minors AA, Minors AAA and Majors teams. These divisions and will be selected via draft based on assessment results.
