We need you! York City Little League depends on volunteers to be successful. Whether you’re a parent or interested member of the community, consider offering your time to help our community’s children. The League is actively seeking volunteers to serve as coaches, managers and to help with general administrative operations. No experience or special skills are necessary.
The goal of York City Little League is to provide a fun, structured environment that will help teach our community’s children to be tomorrow’s leaders. York City Little League is always looking for responsible and enthusiastic volunteers to help maintain the organization’s structure and ensure operations run smoothly. The benefits of volunteering are endless.
Who Can Volunteer?
Any community members can volunteer, regardless of talents or particular skill sets. You don’t even need a child in the league. Volunteers can be parents, other relatives, retirees, former players, neighbors or, really anyone!
Parents and guardians of players actively participating in the league are strongly encouraged to volunteer. By volunteering, parents spend time with their children and share special memories.
Individuals on rare occasion may be denied the privilege of volunteering if the York City Little League Board of Directors determines that the individual’s participation may be detrimental to the league, its players or teams. All applicants agree to give York City Little League the right to conduct background checks. Decisions by the Board of Directors are final.
